The general terms and conditions apply to every product or service of Friemel and relate to each individual user of the website who places an order via the webshop, hereinafter referred to as “Buyer”.

When ordering a product from the webshop you accept these terms and conditions. We have the right to change our terms and conditions at any time without notice.

The offer has a complete and accurate description of the products or services offered. The description is sufficiently detailed to enable a proper assessment of the offer by the consumer.

If due to an error or mistake there is an unclear / incorrect description of an item on our webshop, we always have the right to change it. The Buyer then has the right to cancel the order and the full amount will be refunded to his account.

All prices quoted are standard in EURO and always include VAT. There is the option to display prices in local currency.

Transport or shipping costs are charged separately and are always at the expense of the Buyer, unless stated otherwise. You can consult these prices at ' Shipping and returns '.

The price applicable to the sales contract is the price in force at the time of the registered order and as indicated on the website at that time. The price refers to the item that is described verbatim. Accompanying photos are decorative and may contain elements that are not included in the article and its price.

If there is an incorrect price for an item on our webshop due to an error or mistake, we always have the right to change this price. The Buyer then has the right to cancel the order and the paid amount will be refunded to his account.

Payment happens electronically. The webshop uses the secure payment system 'Shopify Payments'. The purchase is made when we receive confirmation of your payment. Until then, the ordered items are the property of Friemel.

Legal guarantee (for consumers only):
According to the law of 21 September 2004 on the protection of consumers when selling consumption goods, the consumer has legal rights. Each item is subject to this legal warranty from the date of purchase by the first owner. Any commercial guarantee does not affect these rights.

To invoke the warranty, the Buyer must be able to present proof of purchase and contact Friemel in advance, after which the Buyer must return the item to Friemel at its expense.

Any defect must be reported within 14 days of its discovery. Afterwards, any right to repair or replacement will lapse. The (commercial and/or legal) guarantee never applies to defects that arise as a result of accidents, neglect, falls, abnormal or incorrect use, use of the article contrary to the purpose for which it was designed, non-compliance with the instructions for use or manual, adjustments or changes to the article, heavy-handed use, poor maintenance. Nor does it apply to articles with a shorter life span or wear articles. The warranty is not transferable.

Sometimes it happens that things don't go as planned. We ask the Buyer to first make his complaints known to us. You can do this via the email address friemel.shop@hotmail.com . This way we can look for a solution together. If this does not work, you can submit a complaint to the Consumer Ombudsman Service. You can find this government agency via https://consumentenombudsdienst.be/nl .

From 15 February 2016 it is also possible for consumers in the EU to report complaints via the ODR platform of the European Commission. This ODR platform can be found at http://ec.europa.eu/odr .
